Visitor Information

Coal Creek Community Park and Museum is a dedication to helping develop an appreciation of Australian rural history and in particular our Coal Mining Past.  
The Education Program has been constructed specifically for students to experience life as a child in the past. 

General School Information

Bookings
All education activities at Coal Creek must be pre-booked.  Booking forms are available for download from the school bookings page, or alternatively can be requested through our Customer Service Staff at Coal Creek.
Groups
Students will be need to be arranged into groups of approximately 20 for all activities.  Smaller groups are more than welcome on request.  Timetables will be constructed by our Education Officer and faxed through to you prior to your visit. 
Should you wish to change any aspects of your school visit, please notify Coal Creek as soon as possible.
Wet Day Policy
Please contact Coal Creek should you have any concerns about our wet day policy.
Payment
Please contact our education officer to discuss our competitve school prices.

Camps and Excursions

Coal Creek Heritage Village is within close proximity of a large diversity of school camps.

Forest Lodge Farm
Situated close to Tarra Bulga National Park and Wilsons Promotory, this venue is an ideal suit for school groups with over 100 beds.

Rumbug
Adventure activity courses encourage friendships between all as students build self confidence, problem solving and teamwork skills.  Within easy distance to Wilsons Promontory.

Shiloh Ranch
An Interdenominational Christian Camping Centre that is situated on 50 hectares of undulating pastures with views of Westernport Bay.  Activities include horseriding, flying fox, games, rope course and many more.

Catherines Creek Camp
Located in the Allambee Reserve, close to Mirboo North.  Specialises in school camps.

With bushwalks and environmental activities as well as a large recreation building, this tranquil setting is ideal for school camps.

Koala Park Resort
Offers both Motel and Group Accommodation.  With 18 motel units, that comfortable accommodate up to 130 people, this camp is situated on Phillip Island.
