Our community-run farmers' market, supported by the South Gippsland Shire Council

Welcome to the Coal Creek farmers' market!

Market day is the second Saturday each month, from 8am until 12:30pm, in the Coal Creek Community Park and Museum carpark, Korumburra, South Gippsland.

START THE YEAR ON THE RIGHT FOOT…
Looking for an easy new year's resolution? Come along to the Coal Creek Farmers' Market every month; get the best and freshest in locally produced food and feel good about buying it direct from a farmer. Put the dates in your diary and be there every month, as we will, whatever the weather!

The line-up of produce changes each month but always includes fresh, local and organic fruit and vegetables from Alambee South, Lang Lang, Kardella, Thorpdale, Warragul and Korumburra surrounds. Then there's goats cheese from Bena, freshly caught fish from Port Franklin, sourdough bread from Yarragon, olives & olive oil from Jumbunna & Fish Creek, handmade preserves from Koonwarra, wine from Leongatha South, free range pork, beef, lamb from Yarragon, venison from Neerim South and eggs from Grantville plus fresh pasta, frozen berry sorbets, chilli sauce & salsas, freshly blended spice mixes, homemade pies & apple strudel, honey, vegie seedlings, David Austin roses, plants, flowers, heritage apple trees and more - all from Victorian growers and makers direct.

In the shady picnic area the espresso coffee cart hums away all morning, local community groups do a brisk trade in egg & bacon rolls and sausages in bread all made with local produce. The CWA cake stall is a popular feature with the wonderful baking skills much appreciated by happy customers.

BREKKIE
Enjoy the all-day brekkie stall which is manned by our volunteers, service clubs and other community groups.
It features local produce thanks to Kitty and Dennis Muir's sausages and bacon from their Korumburra Butcher shop, eggs from Phil and Anne Westwood and bread from Kelly's Bakery.

COMMUNITY
Each month there is a community stall selling local produce and baked goods.
CWA groups, schools and other community groups are welcome to join the roster and have a fundraising stall for their projects. (Contact us for details)

We are fortunate to have the support of the Korumburra Business Association, so we hope you'll support them too.
