Vicki Sullivan is an Australian Painter working in Oils, born and raised in Sorrento on the Mornington Peninsula in Victoria.
Vicki's Latest works focus on Still Life. Using beautiful subjects from her abundant garden she superbly captures the delicate effects of light.
Her atmospheric landscapes portray evocative and memorable images from her travels through Europe.
Vicki's sensitive treatment of Portraiture depicts the character of her subjects with a fresh spontaneity and a fluency of brushwork.
Utilising the luscious rich colours and textures of oils, Vicki is currently exploring the traditions of Tonal Impressionism.
Through the versatility of the Meldrum Method, Vicki paints still life, landscapes and portraiture, where she experiments with the use of Chiaroscuro, revealing the drama of her subjects through the contrasts of light and shade.
Vicki's work is held in Collections around Australia and overseas.
